Trip up Volcano Mt Nyragongo
Mt Nyragongo is the volcano that stands vigil over Goma and destroyed the city in 2002. It is the worlds second largest and most active volcano in the world. It was featured in the March edition of National Geographics and earned Goma the title of the "most dangerous city on Earth." It is a United National World Heritage Site and part of the Virunga National Park. Views of the lava lakes from the crater up top are said to be spectacular and unforgettable. This year we decide to take the two day trip and climb to the top to see for ourselves
