Dr Joseph staff physician Don Bosco Ngangi and Health Alliance Goma
Dr Joseph Muyuma is Congolese and was born in Sandoa D.R.Congo in 1975. He attended medical school at the University of Lubumbashi and graduated in 2004. He has worked as both a generalist and pediatric specialist in hospitals in both the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda and for Doctors Without Borders.

Dr Alfred Mwenebatende is Congolese. He was born in Kamituga July 2, 1971 in the province of South Kivu. He completed his medical training as a generalist at the University of Kisangani in 2002. He did further specialty training at the University of Kisangani in pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and surgery. He became a staff physician at the Provincial Hospital North Kivu in Goma in 2004. He was on staff at the Therapeutic Nutritional Center of the Department of Diosicene Medical Works in North Kivu from 2004-2007. He has been a consulting physician at the Dom Bosco Ngangi Medical Center from 2004 to the present. Since 2007 he has been chief medical officer for the International Medical Corps. He oversees the medical care of seven refugee camps and six nutritional centers.

Dr Jeff St Vincents Hosptial Medical Director and Chief of Surgery Dr Jeff Mibi is the Physician Director and Chief of Surgery of St. Vincents Hospital in Bukavu. He specializes in general surgury and gynocologic surgery namely reconstructive and fistual repairs in rape vicitims.

Dr Sylvia Esser-Gleason is an Emergency Medicine physician in various Emergency Departments in the Dayton, Ohio area. She attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did postgraduate training at Grandview Hospital in Dayton Ohio. She has been a practicing physician for over 25 years. She first became involved in central Africa through Bridge to Rwanda and its orphanage in Muhororo Rwanda. She is the currently involved with several organizations working on human rights and humanitarian issues.
